About Nitish Kumar Singh

Working as a Lecturer in Marketing at Hope Business School, Liverpool Hope University, UK. Previously, I was associated with Christ University as an Assistant Professor for over a year. Apart from that, I have more than three years of experience in teaching and industry in the fields of marketing, with a special focus on Digital Marketing, Marketing Analytics, and agricultural and rural marketing. I am passionate about advancing knowledge and practice in this domain, which is vital for empowering farmers and rural communities in India. I hold a PhD in Agricultural Marketing from the Central University of Karnataka, where I conducted a comprehensive study on the different e-platforms for trading agricultural commodities in India, especially on e-NAM (electronic-National Agriculture Marketing). I have also published multiple papers in reputed academic journals on topics such as consumer behaviour, e-commerce, and rural development. Additionally, I have a post-graduation diploma in digital marketing from NIIT, which enables me to apply the latest tools and techniques of online marketing to my research and teaching. I have a diploma and Master's in tourism from Indira Gandhi National Open University. My goal is to contribute to developing innovative and effective solutions for the challenges and opportunities faced by the agricultural sector in India. In April 2025, I obtained the Certification Management and Business Educator (CMBE) from the Chartered Association of Business School (CABS) UK.
