About Nivi Matsyaraja

The Provider - ESFJ As an ESFJ, you tend to be empathetic, warm-hearted, and supportive. You are often a social butterfly and highly aware of others’ needs.(Results of my Myers Briggs Personality test) My children are my strength; they teach me to be a better human. A better human means a better worker and a better citizen. My journey started in India, now a landed immigrant in Canada after living for over 15 years in the United States. The past 20 years of my work experience involved helping and supporting varied groups of students/ youth especially the marginalized populations. Whether it is refugee students from Nepal and East African countries or at-risk youth and children who were left at the border in Texas years ago, who now live with a relative or newcomers to Canada who are seeking a new meaning to life: all needed one thing- a sense of belonging and acceptance into the mainstream. Being empathetic, for me, has come from my teaching experience. To understand someone's personal and social situation while teaching them academics was not easy. But with some care, compassion and empathy, I was able to support them and see some of them succeed. Here in Canada, I have experience in recruiting and advising individuals in career training programs. It gives me immense satisfaction to be someone who can guide prospective students and unemployed individuals to make the right decisions in terms of their education and future career. I am currently working as Employer Relations Specialist at MOSAIC and I am happy to work with clients in placing them. If you are an employer, it's my pleasure to connect with you!
