About Noah Chapman

Noah graduated from the University of Georgia in May, 2020 with a B.S. in Civil Engineering. As a student at the University of Georgia, Noah's love and passion for civil and structural engineering flourished while taking courses such as Design of Prestress Concrete, Finite Element Analysis, Stability of Structures, Design of Bridges, Advanced Structural Analysis, and Advanced Strength of Materials. Noah gained beneficial career experience at UGA by designing the SR120 Bridge Replacement for senior design and by creating site plans as a civil engineering intern at Baseline Surveying & Engineering. As a senior at the University of Georgia, Noah was offered a position in the UGA College of Engineering Double-Dawg program. The Double-Dawg program allowed him to complete four graduate level classes as an undergraduate, and therefore be able to complete his master’s degree within one additional year. Noah is currently completing his thesis by researching the addition of natural fibers and materials to concrete to produce a green concrete with better mechanical properties than traditional concrete. Noah is excited to pursue civil and structural engineering jobs as an entry level EIT.
