About Noah Chidester

I work as a Senior Research Assistant in the Prices and Wages section at the Federal Reserve Board of Governors, where I analyze and maintain inflation forecasting mechanisms and economic data. Using my skills in data analysis and programming in R and Python, I conduct research on topics such as inflation, high-frequency data, and optimization. I have contributed to multiple publications and presentations on these topics, showcasing my ability to communicate complex findings and insights.I am also pursuing a Master of Science in Financial Mathematics at Johns Hopkins University, where I am expanding my knowledge and skills in quantitative finance and mathematics. I graduated summa cum laude from Cameron School of Business at University of North Carolina Wilmington with a degree in Business Administration, with concentrations in Economics and Finance, and a minor in Data Science. I held a research fellowship position within the Economics and Finance department, where I gained experience in economic research, financial statement analysis, and company valuation techniques. I am passionate about applying my analytical and mathematical skills to solve real-world problems and support sound economic policies.
