Welcome to my LinkedIn profile! Im passionate about Accounting, and am currently in the process of completing my degree. My ultimate goal is to become a Certified Public Accountant. While in school, I am doing an internship at CLA where I will be focused on the audit process. I hope to use this opportunity to learn more about the profession and how to better serve our clients. At USF, I am a member of the Corporate Mentor Program. This program assigns a mentor that works in the field that we are trying to break in to. I decided to join this program to learn from people that have once been in the same shoes I have. In addition to this, I am a member of the USF Accounting Society, where we host events with accounting firms and provide resources for success in the profession. In school, I currently have all A's in all of my accounting courses. I find the success I have had in school is a product of my passion. I have never had a subject in school that I wanted to learn as much as accounting. Some of the topics we have been covering in school are:Journal entriesFinancial statementsTime value of moneyThe use of excel in accountingI am always eager to embrace new challenges and continue learning.
