About Noah Heckman

I'm a results-oriented Cybersecurity Engineer at Michael Foods, where I focus on building and scaling practical, reliable defense systems. I've recently been hands-on in critical initiatives, including assisting with the design and deployment of our Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) architecture, and managing the wide-scale implementation of event logging solutions to give us the comprehensive visibility we need for effective security and compliance. My engineering mindset is built upon years of hands-on experience gained at Antisyphon Training and Black Hills Information Security (BHIS). During that time, I sharpened my understanding of the adversarial landscape by leading incident response tabletops, pioneering network and system-level threat hunting, and developing adversary emulation scripts using the MITRE ATT & CK framework. This unique background ensures I design security controls that anticipate and defeat modern threats—because I know how the adversary thinks. With a Bachelor of Science in Cybersecurity and Information Assurance from Western Governors University, my core competencies are centered on network security, security architecture, and robust log management. I'm truly passionate about innovation and dedicated to applying continuous improvement principles to secure and strengthen the resilience of modern enterprises.
