About Noah Huffman

Pushing the boundaries of emerging technologies gets me out of bed in the morning. Over the last 8 years, I have researched both experimental and theoretical quantum computing with a focus on practical advancements which will help to make near-term quantum computers a reality. My PhD work has focused on noise characterization and classification in Noisy Intermediate-Scale Quantum (NISQ) computers as well as optimizing classical simulations of quantum circuits. I am a recipient of the National Science Foundation's Graduate Research Fellowship and was awarded a cash prize for work done as part of a National Institutes of Health Innovation Lab on Quantum Computing applications in the Biological sciences. Presently, I am searching for new, exciting career opportunities. I love theory and coding in equal parts, and am eager to join a team that is as passionate about designing and building solutions to complex problems as I am.
