About Noah Lopez

A queer Mexican-American person with more Philosophy degrees than feet, I’ve always been motivated to understand and activate the kinds of interactions that make individuals, organizations, and communities flourish. From Santa Clara University to Oxford to Harvard, researching and teaching ethics and theories of love for over a decade helped me to develop strong analytical thinking, strategic planning, and communication skills. Moreover, it allowed me to gain experience in what I care about most: designing, advocating for, and facilitating transformative learning experiences to promote individual and collective well-being. This research and teaching led to my most recent work doing organizational development, writing and communications, DEI (diversity-equity-inclusion) consulting, and learning design and facilitation at Harvard and with mission-driven nonprofit and small business partners. Whether designing a program strategy or writing up an equity and inclusion review, I’ve completed many an individual project. But my favorite projects are collaborative at core, built out of diverse input and iteration based on participant feedback. Bonus points for collaborative strategic planning around objectives and an evaluation process. Finally, I like to note that my work is deeply informed by values and approaches I’ve learned practicing yoga and meditation since 2003. It’s also informed by my multidisciplinary collaborations with various artists and media-makers (see “Projects” below), as well as my decade of competitive distance running in the US and the UK.
