About Noah Molla

I’m a dedicated Computer Engineering student at San Diego State University, graduating in December 2025, with hands-on experience across AI engineering, computer vision, embedded systems, and full-stack software development. At Zira, I work as a Computer Vision / AI Engineer, executing end-to-end machine learning pipelines — sampling, annotating, training, validating, and deploying YOLOv8 models for industrial automation. I fine-tune hyperparameters using Google Colab, AWS, and Ultralytics, perform quality assurance annotations for pallet defect detection, and deploy optimized models to edge devices via AirDroid. I also build and maintain customer-facing dashboards that track KPIs and model performance. My academic experience has been project-driven and deeply technical. Audio Hub: A full-stack web app built with FastAPI, PostgreSQL, React, and Next.js, featuring JWT authentication, email verification, and REST APIs with automated backend testing. Hardware-Accelerated Pathfinder System: Designed and implemented a Dijkstra’s algorithm accelerator on a Xilinx Spartan-7 FPGA, integrating C, RISC-V assembly, and Verilog RTL modules for full hardware/software co-design. UDP Secure Chat Application: Developed a multi-client encrypted chat system in Python, implementing RSA/AES hybrid encryption and custom communication protocols. Previously, at IDEMIA, I developed automation workflows for mobile ID verification systems, programming in Kotlin, Java, Python, and JavaScript, and integrating NFC, BLE, and QR technologies. Earlier, at Geek Squad (Best Buy), I specialized in hardware and systems troubleshooting, earning awards for technical excellence and service quality. I’m passionate about AI, embedded systems, and software engineering, particularly at the intersection of hardware acceleration, automation, and intelligent systems. Outside of engineering, I enjoy climbing, hiking, and building projects that challenge my curiosity and creativity.
