Background
About Noah Negron
Curiosity and working with people are my strong suits. I've always had an itch for discovery, which seems to have drawn me to the field of STEM. In my youth it was Starwars and Marvel that attracted me to space, and fun projects that drew me to engineering. I am now pursuing a career in space exploration and a degree in mechanical engineering. My passion for space and engineering has forced me out of my comfort zone, resulting in the ability to exceed in new unfamiliar situations. This has allowed me to create a great system of advancement in my life, one that I am very pleased with. It has been difficult to find opportunities as a 2nd-generation Mexican-American, but seeing the payoff of hardwork and dedication has been awe-inspiring. In college I have been able to work on countless club, research, and class projects of different scales that I could have only dreamed about working on in my childhood. Attempting to graduate a year early with a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, has truly thrown me in the deep end of learning and opened up some opportunities. I have also been able to engage myself in a community that follows similar wants and interests. Through this community I intend to apply my knowledge, passion, and work ethic, in order to push the boundaries of technology in all future endeavours of my space engineering career. Background photo Information: My background photo is a culmination of what has inspired and supported me along my journey. From space exploration, to 3D printing projects, to my culture and community, I have been motivated to keep pushing my limits. Shout out to the organizations who have supported me along the way: Bradley University, SHPE, ASME, AIAA, IPS, NASA ISGC, NSLS, and YL
