About Noah Petit

Passionate about aviation with a background in mechanical engineering, I’ve been an avgeek since childhood—always looking up at the sky, waiting for my turn to fly. My journey began with a gliding license and the French General Aeronautics Initiation Course, a mentorship program for aspiring aviators. As an inquisitive young aviator, I then transitioned to piston engine aircrafts, getting my LAPL. At 17, I joined the Air Force to deepen my aviation knowledge, discipline, and goal-oriented mindset. My time in combat squadrons instilled valuable lessons in resilience and humility. Studying mechanical engineering further honed my technical, analytical, and management skills, which I applied in demanding environments at Cargolux and EDF’s nuclear power plant—both highly safety-focused industries. An enriching experience at McMaster University allowed me to explore engineering from a North American perspective while gaining invaluable life experience abroad. Now, as a Luxair cadet pilot, I’m fulfilling my lifelong dream of becoming an airline pilot in a workplace I deeply cherish.
