In 1998 Mr. Rowles founded iolo technologies, LLC, a pioneer of award-winning performance optimization software for multiple markets. As iolo’s CEO he led the business through 15 consecutive years of self-funded growth, profitability and global leadership within the technology industry. Under Rowles’ leadership iolo’s products were the consistent recipients of more industry awards than any other of their kind. His assertive marketing strategies and focus on operational agility enabled the company to capture 85% of the US and 98% of the Canadian retail market share through storefronts while amassing over 40 million users across more than 100 countries. Mr. Rowles achieved multiple placings on the Deloitte Fast 50 list of the fastest growing private companies, ranking 8th in 2004 with a 979% average growth rate. He was named CEO of the Year by the American Business Awards in 2010 and by the Golden Bridge Awards in 2012, was a semifinalist in Ernst and Young’s Entrepreneur of the Year awards in 2010 and 2011, won the Financial Times’ Deal Maker of the Year award in 2013, and has been profiled in numerous leading global business publications.
