About Noah Schulz

Over eight years of teaching in universities across Canada has given me a depth of experience working with a wide range of students at different learning levels and life stages. In my teaching I seek to employ an anti-oppressive and collaborative pedagogy.My work into researching alternatives to liberal multiculturalism is also a great source of learning for me as I reach the final stages of writing for my book. My main other areas of research interest are in urban and community development, Canadian politics, gender and organizations, social movements, and queer theory. Recently, I have also had the opportunity to work as a freelance copy editor on projects aimed at improving immigration settlement strategies in the province of Manitoba. I am interested in further enhancing my skills as a copy editor and editorial assistant and building more connections with organizations like Immigration Partnership Winnipeg. As a settler, I am dedicated to working with others to develop solutions to help make the province more inclusive to newcomers while decolonizing what it means to be a Canadian citizen on Indigenous land.
