About Noah Shafer

Hello, I am a Sophomore at Pennsylvania College of Technology obtaining a Bachelors Degree of Science in Civil Engineering Technology as well as a minor in Mathematics. I chose civil engineering because of my love for construction and my advanced math capabilities. When I'm not in school, you can find me working in Northeastern PA with the natural gas industry. My current employer, B&K Crane Rentals and Construction Services, provides a service where we move the natural gas rigs from one location to another; the individuals who do that are labeled as swampers and riggers. I am a swamper for B&K and I love it. My average work day would be 14 hours long, day or night shift, depending on what company we are working for. When I'm neither at school or working with B&K, you can find me working with D&L Construction, a small construction company, or at home doing outdoor chores and tending to the livestock my dad and I raise.
