About Noah Spitzer

I've worked primarily in performance, travel, and education, with a strong background in sales and customer service. My training in theatre and film has developed my emotional intelligence and interpersonal skills, making me a strong contender for high touch jobs that require soft skills. I've sold kitchen knives and luxury travel experiences; I've supervised retail operations and managed complex multi-day tour itineraries. As a Trip Leader with Backroads, I oversee day-to-day logistics for hiking and cycling tours, which has brought me to Belize, Costa Rica, the Canadian Rockies, Spain, France and more. I also help interview, train, and mentor our new employees as part of the Hiring and Training Team. As an avid hiker, I love scrambling up mountains for a vacation, and for me, a bike ride starts at the 20 km mark, otherwise it's just "commuting." I'm a jack-of-all-trades: a slow learner but with a mind like a sponge. I believe that people will either strive to meet your high expectations of them or stoop to match your disrespect. Treat people like people, not dollar signs, and they will be your greatest asset. I'm currently studying at the University of Toronto, pursuing a Master of Teaching Degree at OISE, one of the top ten schools for education in the world and #1 in Canada.
