About Nobue Maeda

I am a highly experienced native Japanese teacher fluent both in English and Japanese. Since I have been living and working in North America for more than twenty years, I am very familiar with both Japanese and Western cultures. Because of my lengthy teaching experience, I am able to provide effective and comprehensive Japanese lessons for any level of student from beginner to business professional. No matter whether the client’s objective is improved Japanese personal or business conversational skills or if they are preparing for any level of the Japanese proficiency examinations, I can help them improve their mastery of the Japanese language through private/one-on-one, group, and corporate team lessons as well as online Skype sessions depending on client preference. My students have achieved over a 95% passing rate on the Japanese proficiency exams. Above and beyond my primary role as a language instructor, I have sought to broaden my personal educational and developmental horizons by taking courses in PC desktop applications (e.g, the Microsoft Office Suite), paralegal studies (Introductory Paralegal Studies; Commercial Law 1 and 2; Evidence Law), English/Japanese business contract translation, medical terminology, and marketing. I strongly believe that these skills and training allow me to bring added-value to the language instruction experience and to better accommodate the interests and goals of my clients.
