About Noel Blanco
I am a board-certified physiatrist, having completed my residency at Geisinger Medical Center. I have a strong interest in general rehabilitation, including but not limited to-Rehabilitation and medical management of brain injury, neuromuscular ailments, polytrauma, post-surgical, stroke, spinal cord injury, and sports-Ultrasound guidance procedures-Botox for spasticity and migraines-Electrodiagnostic procedures, including nerve conduction studies and electromyography. Before residency, I served in the US Army for almost six years as a Field Surgeon and Flight Surgeon, including a rotation in Korea, where I provided field medicine and primary care medicine. Afterward, I managed a correctional facility as both the medical director and primary care physician, providing direct patient care. I was a contestant on American Ninja Warrior in Dallas in 2018. I have also published articles and presented workshops on barefoot running, the benefits of yoga for asthma, and exercise prescription.
