About Noel Buranday

I realized I was a natural creative at a very young age. It all started when I discovered I was good at sketching Dragon Ball Z characters. From there, I developed an aptitude for music, art, and strangely enough - data analytics. Although I was unaware of where my curiosity and skills would take me, these were the events that marked the beginning of my analytics journey. My very first job out of college was an HR support role that involved tracking employee files through an Excel spreadsheet. This is where I attained the bulk of my Excel skills and grew my curiosity about the software. I started to ask myself "So I can filter this, cool - but there's got to be more, right?". Fast forward a year, and I'd been promoted to another HR position working heavily in Excel. Although the type of work wasn't my favorite, I still greatly enjoyed working in Excel. This is where it donned on me that maybe I was meant for something different. From there, I decided to make a pivot and pursue an MBA specializing in business data analytics while still working full time. Despite the uncertainty and pressure that came with this, the course work peaked so much interest in my soul that it validated my decision and inspired me to press onward. Fast forward another year, and I'd moved to Texas to drive Human Capital Management for the Air Force Manpower Analysis Agency. Finally, I'd begun working with Power BI and performing real ETL processes while also facilitating workshops, gathering requirements, and collaborating with large cross-functional teams on complex and time-sensitive projects. Since then I've hit my stride, accumulating over 6 year's experience and being steadily promoted to reflect the organizational impact that I drive on a daily basis. I've found my calling and I'm only getting started!
