I am a proven leader with over 20 years of experience in delivering commercial results coupled with flawless operational execution. I've implemented and overseen the overall internal strategic growth initiatives of OSG while also consolidating the MR segment. Successfully managing one of largest product tanker fleets consisting of a fleet of upwards to 50 tankers comprised of LR2, LR1 and MRs. I began my career as Manager of US Flag crewing for both licensed/unlicensed seafarers. Later found my true calling when tasked with the commercial spot trading and ship management for US and Internationally flagged product tankers. The day-to-day immersion encouraged me to become a student of the market, making me well aware of not only how the supply and demand of ships impact the market, but also how the threat of geo-political risks, weather and other environmental events effect the tanker markets and their outlook. As Manager, I embraced the challenges of fleet portfolio management and helped to cultivate a worldwide trading team located in NY, London and Singapore. I later launched Clean Products International (CPI) with OSG’s partners at Ultragas. As Deputy Head of Products my responsibilities for the Fleet grew exponentially with the undertaking of more broad fleet wide initiatives. Accountable for the P&L, with budgets of $100-150 million dollars and total Vessel Cash Contributions of $15-30 million dollars, during some of the most difficult times faced by Owners. My team expanded to an additional 30 people, whereby I maintained co-managerial responsibilities with the local Heads of the respective departments overseeing claims handling for the Insurance and Post Fixture Departments, ensured that KPI’s were met or exceeded, drydock costs streamlined and vessels well vetted. I was an integral part of OSG’s restructuring process, delivering 1-5 year fleet renewal business plans for emergence from Chapter XI positioning OSG International for successful re-launching.
