About Noel Needham

I have over 13 years experience in all aspects of fleet and fleet management. From a Regional Fleet Manager to a National Fleet Training Manager. As a motor mechanic I have a deep knowledge of vehicle mechanism. I followed this by becoming a roadside patrol, which required an understanding of safety, road traffic acts & H&S legislation, continued by when I became an AA technical engineer. Where I worked and later managed key accounts by driving for accountability, collaboration and networking with key shareholders. I showed an ability for report writing, maintaining database, preparing & presenting monthly reports. To more recently, where as a regional fleet manager and national fleet training manager, I displayed my strengths in networking, building and maintaining strategic relationships, report writing, submitting annual budgets, constructing a training record database, along with creating new policies & procedures. I improved operations output by reducing vehicle down time and also reducing both the maintenance and fuel cost. I identified and constructed key in-depth highly qualified bespoke training programs and one off training courses. These ensure fleet operations have a greater understanding of vehicle mechanism, accountability, road traffic acts and improve safety culture.
