About Noel Reumerman

As the Director of Accounting Policies at Philips, I leverage my extensive experience in finance and risk data analysis to deliver reliable financial information for both internal and external reporting. I support senior management in making informed policy decisions by applying IFRS guidelines, European Central Bank policies, Dutch regulators' guidelines, and internal guidelines. I also maintain strong relationships with various stakeholders, including foreign offices. In addition to my current role, I have a rich background in accounting policy management, having served as a Manager of Group Accounting Policies IFRS at Aegon. There, I was responsible for monitoring changes in IFRS and other relevant accounting standards, ensuring IFRS compliance of financial reporting, and maintaining the group accounting manuals and guidelines. I also led a project on the implementation of Lease Accounting under IFRS 16. My education includes a Master of Science in Accountancy from Nyenrode Business Universiteit, where I honed my skills in accountancy. I am passionate about staying updated on the latest developments in accounting standards and best practices, and I am always eager to learn new skills and share my expertise with others.
