About Nojan Kamoosi

Having completed my articles at Norton Rose Fulbright, I joined Killam Cordell in 2018 as a junior associate, where my practice focuses on defending professionals. I have a diverse occupational background including the fields of health and fitness, education management, tutoring, journalism and law.I graduated from Simon Fraser University in 2013 with a Kinesiology degree and a concentration in Active Health and Rehabilitation. Upon entering the workforce my main two fields of employment were Cardiac Rehabilitation and Education Management. The former was done through the YMCA Healthy Heart Program and through the Lions Gate Cardiac Rehab Program, while the latter involved me managing and operating a division of a start-up company named Beat Your Course.I began my legal education at the University of Victoria in 2014, where I joined a variety of student clubs and teams, volunteered with a variety of organizations and worked as a student tutor for the school's Amicus program.I began my legal training as a Summer Articled Student for Bull Housser Tupper in the summer of 2016 and returned to that firm as an articled student in the Summer of 2017 after the firm had become Norton Rose Fulbright. I've lived in Iran and Canada, and am fluent in Farsi. In my spare time I enjoy spending time with friends and family, playing guitar and reading non-fiction.
