About Nolan Bonham

I always knew I wanted to help people, but I was unsure how to go about it. As a teenager, I mentored youth in my community and quickly realized that helping others, particularly children, was a true passion. I decided that psychology and mental health were the areas I wanted to focus on, and I enrolled at John Carroll University, where I eventually graduated with a B.S. in Psychology and a Minor in Neuroscience. After graduating, I joined Pressley Ridge as a Family-Based Mental Health Counselor, working with children and their families to address mental health and relationship struggles. I truly enjoyed this experience and remained in this position until I relocated to Ohio in 2020, when I joined the Knapp Center as an RBT (1-on-1 teacher) servicing children with autism. After some time as an RBT, I was promoted to ABA Program Assistant, where my job duties expanded from direct care to administrative responsibilities. As I've grown in this role, I've been asked to wear many hats - small team management, project management, IT support, authorization review, recruit/interview, and content creation/management. These experiences have taught me to adapt to various challenges while continuing to grow professionally. Outside of work, I typically spend time with my family and going on adventures! Additionally, I enjoy chess, reading, houseplants, photography, music, sports, exercise, and coffee! I'm always looking for opportunities to learn and grow, especially outside my comfort zone, and am excited to connect with like-minded professionals who share my passion for making a difference.
