Why tax accounting? While tax accounting seems boring and complicated, I chose tax accounting due to its dynamic environment. I relish the challenge of keeping up with tax law changes. I especially enjoy researching the tax code and case law to assist clients in staying tax compliant while also reducing their tax burden. When not working, I have been studying for the CPA exam, with the goal of earning my license by spring of 2025. I am excited as I march towards earning my license knowing that it will enable me to better assist clients and further my own personal growth. Specific areas of tax that I am most passionate about include corporate tax, international tax, and trusts and estates.
