About Nolan Rutter

As a Brewer at Bench Brewing Company, I am responsible for brewing and cellaring operations. I have 2 years of experience in the brewing industry, having worked as a Junior Brewer at Collective Arts and in canning and packaging at Bench Brewing Company prior to my current role. I have developed skills in heavy equipment operation, yeast harvesting, sampling, CIP on equipment and tanks, dry hopping, and monitoring beer through the fermentation process. I also have experience in brewing from start to finish, including milling grist bills, pitching yeast, blending beers, and troubleshooting issues during the brewing process. I am passionate about creating high-quality craft beers and contributing to the growth and success of the company. I hold a diploma in both Environmental Tech (Mohawk College) and a in Brewmaster and Brewery Operations Management (Niagara College). Before my brewing career I worked in Hospitality for 7 years, starting as a base level cook in fine dining and finished my career as a Chef De Partie. I also moved on to Serving / Bartending during my last 2 years in the industry. I have a great passion for food and beverage.
