About Nolan Shapiro

From the beginning of my life, my unwavering devotion was to all things sports. My dad coached me in basketball, baseball, football, and soccer. My mom coached my younger brother, Garrett, leading them to a handful of championships and was vice-commissioner for our local sports league. Heck, our family vacations even consisted of traveling to different cities around the United States; not to delve into it's unique history, but to visit every ballpark in the MLB. A lot has changed since then. I've hung up all of my cleats and sneakers as retirement came early (soon after my High School graduation). My parents have drifted away from the fields and talk more about business plans than game plans. And we recently completed the feat of visiting all 30 MLB stadiums-Sun Trust Field in Atlanta, GA (no. 30) was awesome and could not be more grateful for the opportunity! At the same time, a great deal has stayed constant and I've made slight transitions into the next chapter of my life. Instead of utilizing my teammates' strengths and skills to put ourselves in a better position to get the win, I am doing the same at Gesher Group by evoking effective collaboration to foster the best solutions for our clients. Instead of going to the batting cages everyday in-between school and practice, I am reading career oriented books and learning on my own to develop and refine my skills. All in all, the lessons and dedication that I learned through sports transition into life and have defined my career perspective. My passion is being able to work on a motivated team to get a job done that exceeds expectations. I love to work hard and I believe there is nothing more rewarding than knowing that a tangible improvement was made from a direct result of my hard work.
