I am a free spirit and I try to live each day like its my last, because I've had days, that was very close to being my last. I find the positive in every situation and yank it out. When I'm having a bad day, I look at the clock to see how many hours, left in the day, so I can turn it around. Yes, I've had a tough childhood, but had you warned me that the suffering was going to create the respect and appreciation, that I have for life today, and the experience and sympathy to help an abused soul, I would go through it all over again. People create Quotes, to make you feel better, but those same Quotes, can discourage those that had a different path. Quotes that confused me growing up:"If you don't know where you came from, you don't know where you're going" What about the individuals, who don't know where they came from? Not knowing where you came from, has no affect on where you want to go, in life. Or "You can't build, on a weak foundation" Yes, you can. You just add more cement between each brick" Or,"Never look back." Well if you never look back, you leave behind a lot of people that could use your help, just as you look forward, for the people that can help you, get where they are. Quotes like this can be confusing to the ones that can't relate and take these words to heart. People forget, that sometimes in the midst of those you are trying to motivate, there is a few that need a different form of support and might not be able to withstand or relate to a particular quote. And these are the souls that need you the most or need you to create a quote for them to relate to.
