About Noor Kaur

Hi! I’m a first-generation graduate from the University of California, Davis, where I earned a B.S. in Managerial Economics with a Minor in Psychology. I currently work as a Client Associate at J.P. Morgan, supporting client relationship management while actively pursuing my Securities Industry Essentials (SIE), Series 7, and Series 66 licenses to become a fully licensed financial professional. Previously, I served as a Personal Banker at Wells Fargo, where I managed high-value transactions and built meaningful relationships with clients from diverse communities. These experiences deepened my passion for financial empowerment, especially in underrepresented and immigrant communities. Outside of work, I’ve always found purpose in blending culture, community, and leadership. At UC Davis, I served as a Finance Board Associate for Davis Women in Business, promoting financial literacy and women’s leadership. I also co-founded Davis De Heere, UC Davis’s Punjabi folk dance team, and now continue that passion for performance and cultural connection as a dancer with Bhangra Empire. Fluent in English and Punjabi, with conversational proficiency in Hindi and Urdu, I bring a multicultural lens and a people-first approach to everything I do. One of my long-term goals is to open a café inspired by South Asian and Middle Eastern culture—a space where tradition, storytelling, and entrepreneurship come together over great coffee or chai. I’m always excited to connect with others who are passionate about finance, culture, and small business—and learn from those building meaningful things from the ground up.
