Background

About Noor Khattak

Postgraduate researcher specializing in the nanofabrication of PVA–magnetite composites for biomedical and electrical engineering applications. My work focuses on electrospinning and advanced materials processing to develop functional nanofibrous scaffolds with potential applications in biosensing, energy systems, and healthcare technologies. I recently earned my M.S. in Electrical & Computer Engineering from Fairfield University, where my thesis centered on the fabrication of porous electrospun PMMA–PDMS scaffolds and the investigation of their potential piezoelectric properties. This research combined hands-on fabrication with molecular dynamics simulations to explore polymer interactions, with potential impact on biosensors and energy harvesting devices. With experience spanning nanofabrication, polymer composites, and electrochemical testing, I am passionate about bridging electrical engineering, materials science, and nanotechnology to design next-generation multifunctional materials.
