Background

About Noorullah Shariff

With 38 years of experience in academia, I have dedicated my career to teaching, research, and academic leadership in engineering education. Having served as Head of Department (ECE & CSE), Vice Principal (Academic), and Principal, I have been deeply involved in shaping curricula, mentoring students and faculty, and fostering research-driven learning environments. Currently, I am a Senior Professor in the AI-ML department, where I continue to drive innovation in education and research. My passion for knowledge-sharing extends beyond the classroom—I have successfully organized national and international conferences, FDPs, seminars, and symposia, contributing to the global exchange of ideas in engineering and technology. Research has been a cornerstone of my academic journey, with 40 research papers published in reputed international journals and the privilege of guiding six Ph.D. scholars to completion, with four more currently under my mentorship. Looking ahead, I aspire to take on the role of an Independent Director, leveraging my experience to transform lives through education, strategic decision-making, and impactful leadership. My goal is to bridge academia and industry, fostering innovation, ethics, and excellence in every endeavor. Let’s connect and collaborate to drive meaningful change in education and beyond!
