About Nora Brown

I a Mona Shores High School alumni. I was in the top 80 in my class of 300 people, and I wore a bronze cord at graduation. I was on the varsity soccer team all four years. I got all conference and all district my sophomore, junior, and senior year. Then senior year I also got all region and Honorably Mention All-State. I committed to play at Muskegon Community College right after high school. I then played on their Womens soccer team there for three years, I used my COVID year there. My first year we won regionals for the first time in school history, and then we lost in finals in districts. My second year we won regionals again and went to Nationals in Georgia. We came in 7th place in the tournament. Then my final year on the team we went to Nationals again, but this year it was in Kansas. We lost in the semi-finals to the team that won the entire tournament. We ended up placing 4th in the tournament. All three years I made the all region and all conference teams, and then my final year I got Honorably Mention All-American First Team. I am now a student at Central Michigan University and I am studying Business Management. I am also on the Womens Club Soccer Team. I also enjoy reading and drawing. I took a lot of art classes in high school. I got asked by the art teachers to be in the AP Art class, but my schedule my senior year could not fit it. I had two drawing selected to be put in an art show at the Muskegon Museum of Art and Industry. My favorite form of art is ceramics. I took a ceramic class at Muskegon Community College and I had one of pieces selected to be put into the Ceramic art prize show.
