About Nora Jacobs

Nora is dedicated to helping children overcome communication disorders that can cause frustration and hinder their relationships and well-being. Her passion lies in using developmental and relationship-based speech-language therapy to support children and their families in achieving meaningful communication. With a special area of interest in Autism Spectrum Disorders, Nora has extensive experience providing speech-language therapy to children with various communication disorders in diverse settings, including homes, schools, children's hospitals, and private clinics. Nora began her career as a speech-language pathologist in 2003, following her work as a special education teacher and developmental specialist. Her expertise encompasses working with individuals with global developmental disabilities, Autism Spectrum Disorders, expressive and receptive language delays and disorders, social learning deficits, and articulation and phonological disorders. She holds a California license in Speech-Language Pathology, an ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence, and a California Speech-Language Pathology Services Credential. Additionally, she is a Hanen Certified speech-language pathologist. Nora is an alumna of California State University East Bay and the University of California San Diego.
