About Nora Qudah

I am a creative person with a deep passion for both art and science. Initially, I embarked on a career as a water and environmental engineer for five years in both Jordan and UAE. I enjoyed my work in infrastructure design and sustainability. After becoming a mother, I realized that my priorities had shifted, and I longed for a career that allowed me to pursue my passion for art and painting while also being present for my family. So, I made the bold decision to leave behind my demanding job in engineering and embark on a new journey as a full-time artist. It wasn't an easy transition, but I knew in my heart that it was the right choice for me and my loved ones. Now, as I immerse myself in the world of art, I feel a profound sense of fulfillment and joy, knowing that I am following my true calling and living a life that aligns with my passions and values. Over time, I started selling my paintings and shipping them worldwide. I worked closely with clients on commissioned art works that speak to their personal experiences and feelings. I also took part in different art exhibitions in Dubai. I'm eager to further enrich my experiences and contribute meaningfully to the regional art scene. My education at a school for gifted students provided me with a solid foundation in artistic mediums, including painting and clay sculpturing. Add to that, my engineering studies provided me with unique perspective and skill set that helped me in my personal art journey. Beyond my artistic pursuits, I am deeply interested in global issues such as sustainability and world peace. My love for nature, astronomy sciences and non-fiction literature reflects in my art. Looking ahead, I am eager to further refine my technical skills and gain valuable experience by learning from the galleries, curators and artists who shape the art scene in the UAE and the Arab region. This journey I chose in art is not just about creating art but about continuous growth and learning, as I work towards making a meaningful impact through my creativity and passion.
