About Norbert Vas

With over 35 years of international hotel management experience in Europe, the USA and SE Asia, I have over the passed 15 years had the privilege of providing pre-opening and technical services, including design and architectural reviews, for more than 120 hotel projects. Formerly serving as VP Business Development for Indonesia’s largest hotel chain, I developed a passion for connecting capital with operational excellence, supporting aspiring hotel owners in transforming their visions into reality. This passion led to the establishment of OPTIMUM HOSPITALITY, a regional hospitality consultancy, asset management firm, and third-party hotel operator with offices in Ho Chi Minh City and Jakarta. In addition to my corporate endeavors, I am a dedicated restaurateur and partner in the PARKHAUS Saigon Group, which operates three successful German restaurants in Vietnam. Furthermore, I am a partner in INTERIOLOGIC, one of Indonesia’s most innovative design and build firms. While primary focus is on office, retail and restaurant projects, our distinctive combination of extensive hotel pre-opening and operational expertise, coupled with customized design solutions, uniquely positions INTERIOLOGIC as the only interior contractor in Indonesia with a comprehensive understanding of the specific needs of the hospitality industry. In addition, INTERIOLOGIC, committed to delivering exceptional customer brand experiences through innovative design, has strategically formed a joint venture with I AM ASSOCIATES, a distinguished London-based international creative agency renowned for its expertise across insights, strategy, digital, branding, interiors, and architecture. This collaboration aims to provide premium design and development services within the luxury segment for high-end hotels and resorts, banking institutions, and retail chains.
