Working in the R&D team to drive commercialization of the product line from initial concept to final specifications for salesmen sample production and final bulk production; executing the line in compliance with timelines, quality & accuracy and functionality. Currently managing the development of cycling helmets, apparel, bags, displays and other accessories, and assisting the development of sport sunglasses and prescription frames for Rudy Project S.p.A. Essential tasks and skills: • Responsible for creating, updating and maintaining specification packages including technical sketches, bill of materials, size specs, grading, construction details. • Responsible for the validation, review, comments of all prototypes to evaluate fit, construction, engineering, cosmetics, quality, design intent, function, and compliance with specifications. • Responsible for implementing innovative and marketable development features while maintaining margin goals. • Create and maintain costing sheets for accuracy. • Responsible for tracking and commenting on all sample approval submits needed throughout the product development process to ensure approval deadlines are met. • Responsible for the coordination of new materials library and storage.
