Additive Manufacturing (3D Printing) SME with General Motors driving the IT partnership with engineering and manufacturing to produce production vehicle parts in metal and polymer. Guiding and overseeing the development effort by external contractors to produce the Manufacturing Execution System (MES) that will be put into service at GM's green field Additive Industrialization Center. Authoring the multi-year portfolio or roadmap of IT AM projects, providing timing, scope, effort sizing, skills, costs, expenses, and budget. Providing guidance regarding AM cyber-security, intellectual property and processing parameter protection. Overseeing the AM digital thread and twin objectives and associated development project efforts to drive forward digital manufacturing and industry 4.0, and smart manufacturing. Trained to operate the EOS M400-4 and P396, HP 5200 and 4200, and Stratasys F900, F450, and F370. Currently pursuing the Master's of Engineering Additive Manufacturing and Design degree from Pennsylvania State University, expected graduation in May 2021. Developed a system to perform automated segmentation (masking) of CT scan data and other medical imaging technologies for the purpose of producing AM models of tissue and organs to aid pre-planning of high-risk surgeries. Hershey Medical Center and Stratasys have assisted verification of the automated system with the 3D printing of a voxel liver model printed on a Stratasys J750 3D printer. Successfully completed the MIT Additive Manufacturing for Innovative Design and Production Certificate course.
