About Norm Henze

I have worked in the lighting industry and for Signify/Philips for 40 years in various capacities. I am currently in specification sales for Western Canada and work with our agents in developing new opportunities, presenting new technologies and working directly with end users and the specification community. I spent 10 years as regional sales manager for the Prairies with responsibility of all sales management functions ie: planning, budgeting, forecasting, distributor relationships at management level and working with all of our agents in the Prairies. Prior to being sales manager for the prairies I was in specifications sales and responsible for Western Canada (Thunder Bay to Victoria). Dealt specifically with specifiers and end users. Prior to the Specification sales role I spent many years as Key account manager for Northern Alberta dealing with our distribution network, contractors, end users, growing our presence and market share for Northern Alberta. I have provided many audits (Industrial & Commercial) over the years, created new areas of business opportunities, created new products that used new lamp technology, provided many training sessions to various groups, involved in writing an white paper on Industrial LED Lighting. I am a member of the IES and a member of the board for the Edmonton chapter. Its a lot of experience and I love working and interacting with people to create new opportunities, grow our presence, and think outside of the box as our Lighting industry continues to evolve, become more digital and connected through the Internet Of Things! For fun I like to ride my Motorcycle, play guitar in our band, Photography, woodwork, family & friends and the great out doors.
