About Norma Tyznik

As a Family Service Administrator at Habitat for Humanity MetroWest/Greater Worcester, I work with low-income families to help them achieve their dream of homeownership. I oversee the application, selection, and education process, as well as provide ongoing support and guidance to the families throughout the construction and aftercare phases. I collaborate with staff, volunteers, contractors, and donors to ensure the quality and efficiency of the projects, and to foster a culture of mutual respect and empowerment among the stakeholders. I have 20 years of experience in the human service field, where I have developed skills in case management, data entry, and bilingual communication. I have worked with diverse populations, including children with autism, homeless individuals, and adults with disabilities. I have a passion for helping others and making a positive impact in the community. I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Bay Path University, where I learned about human behavior, development, and mental health. I also have an associate degree in Human Services from Quinsigamond Community College. I am always eager to learn new things and expand my knowledge and skills.
