About Norman Kemble

Pursuing a lifelong goal of standardizing transparent automation and human interaction by combining worldwide jet aircraft experience and academic learning. Currently working on the Design Build Team as a Subject Matter Expert building the training program on the new Gulfstream G700 as a FAA and EASA pilot examiner and instructor with Flight Safety International. Concurrently, I have started on a Ph.D. in Aviation, emphasis Human Factors at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, Worldwide campus. In April 2020 I completed my Master’s of Science degree in a dual Human Factors Aerospace Specialization: Thesis Option and Systems Engineering: Thesis Option at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, with a 4.0 GPA. My thesis was "A Mixed Methodology Study of the Effects of Age, Touchscreens, New Technology, and Interactions on Pilot Performance." Part of the Design Build Team as a Subject Matter Expert for the Gulfstream G500/G600 and G650 for training as a FAA and EASA pilot examiner and instructor. Previously International and domestic Captain flying Gulfstreams for over 25 years with 9,096 hours on all G-II, and G-IV types and some G650 time, with over 13,100 hours total time. Accomplishing the Ph.D. in Aviation, emphasis Human Factors will enhance what only a handful of people worldwide have achieved: significant jet aircraft experience and advanced academic degrees in Human Factors.
