Experienced in the electrical distribution design field which includes over 5 years of experience as an industrial and commercial electrician and 6 years as a senior distribution electrical utility planner/designer at one of the largest electrical utility providers in the nation, Southern California Edison. Experience includes creating electrical design drawings in AutoCAD, identifying legislation and filing for easements, coordinating with environmental, governmental, and jurisdictional bodies to obtain authorizations and permits, and collaboration with third party utility owners, cities, and customers to resolve conflicts in design and construction. Currently a utility coordinator at an engineering firm, working directly with the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) to review and approve permits, agreements, and legal documentation for multi-million dollar State and Federal highway expansion projects. Experienced in industry standard tools such as AutoCAD, AUD, SPIDA pole loading, SAP, GIS, MicroStation, Open Roads, Blue Beam, and Smartsheet.
