About Norman Tabios

Mr. Norman B. Tabios, LPT, MAEd, Ph.D. is a Senior High School teacher at Quezon City Science High School where he is presently handling and teaching Reading and Writing Skills, 21st Century Literature, Oral Communication in Context, English for Academic and Professional Purposes, and Research subjects. He is also working as a part time LET Review lecturer for several review centers for teachers around Metro Manila. He obtained his Bachelor of Secondary Education and MAED - Language Education degree at New Era University where he also finished his doctorate degree in Bilingual Education. Before he transferred to Quezon City Science High School as a Senior High School Teacher, he worked as a College Instructor at Our Lady of Fatima University where he handled English Language, Literature, Research, and Professional Education subjects. In the Year 2017, he attended the UP Department of Linguistics Extramural Program for Linguistics for Language Teachers. Relative to Research and Language Editing, he has edited both quantitative and Qualitative researches related to Psychology, Educational Management, Early Childhood Education, and Language Research, and has been a recent language editor for both Unified Supplementary Learning Materials (USLM) and Learning Activity Sheets (LAS) for DEPED NCR. He is also an advocate of life long learning and professional development as an educator, and a speaker and lecturer in various trainings for In-service Seminar for teachers in different public schools and a Resource Speaker-Trainer for Rex Bookstore. For the past 10 years, he has attended and presented research papers in International Research conferences, and he has also attended national and international conferences and seminars related to Teacher Training Education, Curriculum Studies, Research, Literature, and Language Pedagogy. His research interests topics are Corrective Feedback, World Englishes, Second Language Acquisition, Content Language Integrated Learning, Content Based Instruction, and Technology Integration in Language Teaching.
