Handled transmission design guidelines portfolio (Microwave, IP Routers, DWDM & Fiber elements), strategic and organic growth projects, new product trials and validation, efficient design review approval process standardization, and tracking. ACHIEVEMENTS Network Consultant, Mobile Network Architecture Development and Technology Roadmap • Managed the end-to-end transmission network design and planning for Mobile Networks in 6 markets, delivering 2G/3G/LTE mobile services. Network dimensioned FOA 3-Radio Access and Core network requirements based on a 3-year Long Range Forecast ensuring scalability and lowest Total Cost of Ownership. • Worked with Head of Fixed Network Planning in delivering Fiber-To-The-Home (FTTH) expansions of 1 million Homes passed per annum and HFC migration of 750k Homes passed per annum. Changed GPON deployment architecture from Centralized to Distributed with a lower cost per Home Passed. • Managed Network Capex Lifecycle from Business Plan up to Operational stage. Led the planning, detailed design reviews, and budget approvals prior to execution based on traffic (actual + forecast). Led the technical evaluation team in RFI/RFP procurement exercise and provides recommendations to the CXOs. • Led team of technical experts to develop design guidelines and KPIs, standardizing working templates, and approval processes, resulting in maximizing efficiencies, right-sizing the network, future-proof technologies, and profitability within our deliveries. This led to reduced capital & operating expenses for the Network, which turns into profitability. • Worked with relevant stakeholders to execute trials and Proof of Concepts for the introduction of new equipment and technology into the network. As part of the onboarding process, suppliers need to physically perform the trials successfully, which includes validating the functionalities and features of the equipment. • Completed multiple Network Due Diligence as part of the Merger & Acquisition exercise. Networks need to be assessed for risks and accurately evaluated prior to recommendation to acquire or merge.
