I am currently working as the Ops Migration Lead (seconded) within Manufacturing Logistics Working on various multi-site migrations into a purpose built automated, automotive facility in the West Midlands. Substantive role is as Senior Planning manager for DHL and recently undertaken introduction trainings into project management. For the JLR off-plant sites at Tyrefort and MidPoint, I am part of the Senior Leadership Team managing the planning teams. I took the role of interim Project Manager for the successful migrations of parts sequenced with lift assistor equipment. Having a successful 25-year career as a logistics management professional with a proven track record in planning and delivering change in transport and warehousing operations. Committed to meeting and exceeding demanding timelines without compromising a world class service. Possessing the ability to plan for and deliver change on complex supply chains. Able to initiate changes to process and procedures to achieve results and maximise company revenue whilst maintaining service levels. Using interpersonal and communication skills, and a personable nature, to lead and motivate productive teams and build positive relationships across all parts of the business. I work well on my own initiative and perform effectively under pressure. I am a reliable, manager, with excellent management and leadership skills. Am comfortable being accountable for all aspects of the solution design. I have a wealth of automotive supply chain knowledge in transport and warehouse management including practical logistics plus skills acquired whilst working Solution Design. Planning lead on many projects including, various New Model Year changes, new car models, new production tracks, acquiring new lift assistors/ handling equipment, planning and implemented 15 AVGs into an existing facility. Creating transport solutions delivering results that kept significantly exceeding targets. Understand the impact of changes across the total supply chain’s various stakeholders. Being able to guide strategy by creating and presenting strong business cases, highlighting risk to the appropriate level and presenting mitigation options. Multi-site tactical and strategic planning for resources, front end configuration of Paragon and Red Prairie. Creating, delivering and being accountable for the cut-over plans. Interaction with Network colleagues to resolve issues inc functional/ process/ operational/technical issues/ identify recurring issues / alerts and conduct root cause analysis.
