About Nour Hariri

I recently earned my Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Wayne State University and now work full-time as an Electrical Designer at HED. In this role, I help design electrical systems for commercial and institutional buildings, including lighting layouts, power distribution, and code-compliant solutions.During my internship at HED, I gained hands-on experience with Revit for building electrical and lighting layouts, and Visual Lighting Studio for performing photometric calculations to meet project requirements and industry standards. This experience gave me a strong foundation in electrical design workflows used in real-world architectural projects. My technical background also includes circuit analysis, simulation using NI Multisim, and proficiency with measurement tools such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and function generators. I also have foundational programming experience in MATLAB, C++, Verilog, and LabVIEW.I’m passionate about applying my technical skills to deliver efficient, accurate designs and continuously expanding my knowledge in electrical engineering.
