About Noyale Colin
Noyale Colin is Senior Lecturer in Dance and Performance at the University of Winchester. She is co-editor of the book Collaboration in Performance Practices: Premises, Workings and Failures(2016) published by Palgrave Macmillan. Her second co-edited book Ethical Agility in Dance is in press with Routledge. She is currently working on a new book project about Dance and Health with Emerald Publisher. Noyale writes journal articles and produces practical works related to her research around issues of embodied practices and the notion of collaboration and togetherness in performance and dance. More recently she has been interested in exploring collaboration through interdisciplinary methods and ideas of neurodiversity, solidarity and place. She is also working on projects that are concerned with issues of embodied pedagogies and training in dance. Since 2018, Noyale assumed the role of Convenor of the Winchester University’s Centre for Performance Practice and Research (CPPR). She has been leading the Research Excellent Framework unit of Assessment for Music, Drama, Dance, Performing Arts, Film and Screen Studies at the university of Winchester.
