About Noyonikaa Gupta

I am a recent graduate from Case Western Reserve University with Bachelor's degrees in Medical Anthropology and German, as well as a Master's degree in Medical Anthropology. I currently work as a Clinical Research Coordinator in the Division of Neurology at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. My team studies the genetics component of several neurological disorders such as sleep and speech disorders, as well as epilepsy. Getting to learn about bioinformatics, interacting with patients and families, and being involved in conversations about bioethics, compassionate patient care, and the social nature of illness are all highlights of my role that motivate and excite me about a future career in medicine. I am very passionate about issues revolving around social justice and community health and hope to incorporate these interests into my pursuit of becoming a physician.
