About Nsibiet Daniel

Daniel Nsibiet has extensive experience as a Researcher, Monitoring, and Evaluation Specialist, with over seven years in fields of public health programming, knowledge management and capacity building/training. He specializes in HIV/AIDS/TB services but also has interests in areas such as Maternal Healthcare, nutrition, malaria programs, family planning, health promotion, and surveillance. In 2015, I joined FHI360, where I worked on implementing HIV/AIDS projects in Akwa Ibom. During this time, I was able to make a meaningful contribution to the realization of the SIDHAS vision through effective data management and the use of electronic medical records such as LAMIS, NOMIS. I set up a system that improved client refill rates by 45% and collated and summarized aggregated data into respective service tools, wrote reports, visualized KPI data on run charts through analyzing RADET, built capacity, and organized advocacy activities and review meetings with stakeholders and GoN. I have a proven track record in creating and implementing M&E plans, using a variety of research techniques such as qualitative and quantitative methods. I have experience in public health programming and have expertise in statistical analysis, and implementing results-based M&E. Furthermore, I have the ability to transfer my knowledge to impact life. I am well-versed in utilizing statistical & research tools including Survey CTO, Kobo collects, Power Bi, SPSS, QGIS, RADET, and Advanced Microsoft Excel. My current role includes supporting the design, development, and implementation of M&E services and functions, working with state teams to increase data use and demand among program teams, and supporting program staff on ways to properly organize and capture program progress and document lessons learned. I also create and improve methods of extracting and assessing information to align with project goals while maintaining high standards of accuracy and oversight, collaborate with program teams and CBOs/OVC partners to create and implement frameworks, indicators, and plans for measuring the impact of projects during the conceptualization, design, and development stages. In addition, I manage and oversee the execution of data acquisition, analysis, and evaluation for both programs and research initiatives at the state level and conduct routine data quality validation/audit, and provide feedback to improve the quality of data in all supported health facilities and among different stakeholders. Throughout these years, I have been motivated by integrity and accountability.
