About Numan Ali

As a dedicated FEA Engineer and Assistant Professor with over 4.5 years of experience in the field of Mechanical Engineering, I specialize in Finite Element Analysis (FEA), structural mechanics, and design optimization. My professional journey includes a robust background in conducting complex simulations and providing innovative solutions for mechanical components, honed through my work at Eaton India Innovation Center and my academic role at the Islamic University of Science and Technology. At Eaton, I excelled in performing both linear and non-linear analysis, tackling thermo-mechanical stress and fatigue issues, and optimizing designs to enhance performance and reliability. My technical skills include proficiency in ANSYS Workbench, SolidWorks, and other essential FEA and CAD tools. I also have a proven track record of managing cross-functional projects, validating simulation results with experimental data, and contributing to innovation through invention disclosures. In my current role as an Assistant Professor, I impart core mechanical engineering knowledge, such as Finite Element Method and Mechanical Vibrations, to the next generation of engineers. I am actively involved in curriculum development, research projects, and mentoring students, ensuring they gain practical insights into industry-standard practices.
