About Nuno Forner

More than 20 years of experience in Portuguese Environmental Non-Governmental Organisations as an associative directive, collaborator and volunteer. My goal is to contribute to an environmentally sustainable society, never forgetting the environmental, social and economic component. In professional terms I have taught in primary and secondary education in the area of biology and geology, but my professional focus in recent years has been the environmental area. I was coordinator of a conservation project supported by the LIFE Programme, responsible for the management of other projects and co-responsible for the preparation of applications to funding programmes, including the LIFE Programme of the European Commission, the Environmental Fund and POSEUR. I organized awareness raising sessions in school environments focusing on nature conservation and natural values for different age levels and in the preparation of didactic materials. For 4 years I was responsible for the institutional website and social networks (facebook, instagram and twitter) of the association ZERO. Currently I follow the implementation of national and European policies in the area of conservation, biofuels, biomass, forests and trade in raw materials with a strong advocacy component. New skills in Digital Marketing and e-Commerce | Post-graduation course at ISVOUGA. I am autonomous, rigorous and with self-management capacity. I have computer skills as an advanced user, namely Joomla, Microsoft Office, Indesign, Illustrator, Photoshop and Finalcut Pro. Translated with (free version)
