About Nuno Matos

With over 25 years of international experience in finance and business, I am a board member and CFO at Future Holding, one of the largest engineering groups based in Europe. I hold a CPA certification and a mini MBA from LSBF, and have completed executive education courses at the University of Cambridge. My mission is to lead the transformation of separate companies into civil engineering multinational corporations and to establish the best global financial processes and practices. I have played a pivotal role in building the Future Group from reputable companies operating in four continents, and in facilitating mergers and acquisitions, audits, and contract negotiations. I have also implemented BI systems, ERP systems, and a financial shared service center to streamline business activities and accelerate organizational output. I am passionate about engineering with a capital "E", and I believe in adding value, structuring solutions, and developing practices and thinking for the market, the planet, and the business as a whole. USUAL RESPONSABILITIES Drive the company’s financial planning Perform risk management by analyzing the organization’s liabilities and investments Decide on investment strategies by considering cash and liquidity risks Control and evaluate the organization’s fundraising plans and capital structure Ensure cash flow is appropriate for the organization’s operations Supervise all finance personnel (controllers, treasurers etc.) Manage vendor relationships Prepare reliable current and forecasting reports Set up and oversee the company’s finance IT system Ensure compliance with the law and company’s policies Manage team of financial controllers and financial analysts.
